I was a bit late for a work event yesterday, but would be in time with some slight overspeed on the motorway...but the Tracer9 wouldn't bring me up to traffic speed - it pulled like a 100ccð±. A look at the dash showed a big 4 in the mode window - wtf? I really couldn't get up to 100kph and finally stopped to investigate. Somehow rain mode had been activated, really had no idea why. Put it back in mode 1, but couldn't avoid being 3mins late. Don't know if my boss really believed me blaming me being late on my bike spontaneously selecting moped mode, I could see how it sounded....ð
Why would anyone ever ever want a drive mode restricting power to an almost dangerously low power? Beats með

Auto sensing engine mode? Glad to say I haven't got anything as fancy as that on my 2018 model.

Not a new thing....mk2s have this feature.....the leads/coils auto sense the rain (approx 2 or 3 drops) and put the boike in moped mode too.

My mode button stays firmly in my head on my old TDM - just the way I want.
