New Presenter For Top Gear Found - zardoz - 02-04-2015 http://www.newsbiscuit.com/2015/04/01/dick-dastardly-in-despicable-negotiations-to-present-top-gear/ New Presenter For Top Gear Found - Catteeclan - 03-04-2015 :rotflmmfao:Â :rotflmmfao: New Presenter For Top Gear Found - jiff - 03-04-2015 ......it appears that, indeed a replacement for Clarkson has been chosen......in the shape of Guy Martin, so I've read. I Love cars almost as much as bikes......but won't be tuning in to Top Gear under this new 'leadership' any more than I did previously. ....something to do with a revulsion for that type of posturing, self-promoting 'personality / celebrity' front-person.....increasingly, beloved, it seems, of media execs. chasing populist aclaim at the expense of intelligent and moderated programming. While you could propose that chasing ratings is their game.....the BBC doesn't rely on advertising revenue.....so could afford, maybe, a modicum of restraint.... OK, rant over......I gracefully bow to majority taste.....and withdraw...... Just don't get me on Boris! .......Jiff. New Presenter For Top Gear Found - Muppdog - 03-04-2015 I thought he was just made favourite with the bookies. Lets hope so. Top Gear with sub titles wouldn't be the same. He talks as fast as he rides. Did hear rumours of but I'll be surprised if true. New Presenter For Top Gear Found - TDMick - 03-04-2015 Probably for the best if he doesn't do it. He's better off doing his own thing, which is why he's so well liked, a contract with the BBC would probably do his head in. Â it's a shame though I think he'd be brilliant at it.
