Brit boike. Brass thread in an aluminium socket (exhaust). Any suggestions for lube (or not) afore install please?

From a galvanic corrosion point of view. Itâll be the aluminium that suffers, but not hugely. Iâd go with either copper based or aluminium based anti seize. Either would be fine, so whichever you have to hand will do the job.

Unless submerged galvanic corrosion shouldn't do a great deal.

It's a brit bike, surely it vibrates until all the nuts fall of so you want a bit of corrosion to hold it together?
