In Memory Of - chrisr - 18-09-2025 I would like to start a new topic remembering the Tdmers no longer with us, starting with my good friend Steve Evans aka Sagalout, who's favourite saying was "What's the point?" Please add to it with photos and or comments of others.[attachment=o15778] In Memory Of - Trevini - 18-09-2025 I liked Steve, always got on well with him and always nice to meet up with him at the Carpe G2Gs. In Memory Of - LIAW - 19-09-2025 I didn't know Steve but having lost my best friend of 50 years earlier this year I know how much people are missed, my friend James was thrilled that I got my old TDM back late last year and he looked forward to seeing it back to being of a 'special' standard, we did our last ride together 2 days before Christmas, James on his BT1100 BULLDOG and me on my TDM 900, early in January he passed away unexpectedly, it hit me hard and it's why I have only recently been able to start work on my bike, to all the people 'missing' we thank you for friendship, peace to all In Memory Of - leehenty - 19-09-2025 Id like to add Moose and Charlie ( he was my first fettle day) I lost my Royal Enfield friend Joe of 35 years in 2021. He left me The Chuffer as he called it, in his will. He always used to say thatll do knowing that for me it has to be perfect and I would go and make him a perfect shiny bit. I had to wrap up the bike in the garage for a year, as it was too painful, but now I have a photo of Joe in left side tool box and open the lid when I arrive places so he can see out.. mad I know. In Memory Of - dablik - 26-09-2025 Charlie seemed to have a habit of breaking down near my house i think 3 times a knock on the door as he'd pushed the bike to me and left overnight, then Moosey boy, ah what a tub of fun he was, he's stayed over with me a couple of times to visit North Wales and likewise i was down to his house for a few rideouts, he was just a happy person to be around and lifted spirits and i got on with him extremely well, he did tell me that's how he would go.. fond memories...In Memory Of - ChrisG - 12-10-2025 I'll always remember the fettle day at my house when Steve turned up with a tray full of cup cakes his daughter had made. He was absolutely gutted they all bounced upside down in the try inside his top box on the way over. Still tasted fantastic though.  My favourite photo of Pete Kelly. For those that didn't know him, Pete could strike up a conversation with anybody, so him chatting to statue of Norman Wisdom makes me chuckle.    Moose loved the cakes so much in the shop in Ballintoy he proposed to the owner ![]()    Spongey (can't for the life of me remember his real name) and Chris Larkin (TeDeum), with Chris's lovely wife Syra, in Ireland back in 2008 when Chris had organised an excellent trip based near their house on Dingle Peninsular  In Memory Of - dapleb - 12-10-2025 Sponge <a class="bbc_url" href="http://www.carpe-tdm.net/ipb/index.php?showtopic=23057&view=&hl=&fromsearch=1">http://www.carpe-tdm.net/ipb/index.php?showtopic=23057&view=&hl=&fromsearch=1</a> Pa Larkin <a class="bbc_url" href="http://www.carpe-tdm.net/ipb/index.php?showtopic=35788&page=1">http://www.carpe-tdm.net/ipb/index.php?showtopic=35788&page=1</a> In Memory Of - chrisbee - 28-10-2025 I will add to this post,  RIP Dave Speed [Speedo]   He didnt spend much time on forums, but he did do a european tour on Studley's old TDM900  RIP Dave, my oldest best friend |
