It's spinning ok, but is not being recognised by computer Dr Who - celticbiker - 27-07-2017 Try it on a Linux box, they can often read drives that windose can't. Dr Who - TKH - 01-08-2017 Dodgy connection to the drive? The connection usually has one bit for the computer bit and one for the power.Or a dodgy USB connection? If it's a drive in a caddy the connection can come adrift leaving power on but no drive showing.
