download the apple programme iTunes, it'll automatically upload when you connect the phone

Technically iTunes won't download your photos - it will allow for local backups.

Two main optins.
1. Plug cable directly into PC. Â Phone should appear in File Explorer. Â Navigate to the photos folder on the phone, and copy/paste to PC
2. Download iCloud Desktop app, and turn on sync in phone then as you take photos they'll sync to your PC via the app - LINK

You can still give Picasa 3 via https://picasa.en.softonic.com/- just pay attention to the installer as it's not a native Google installer to begin with...
