Arrived destination Croatia at 10am. 1700 miles and counting................Went for SE tip of Istria. Think 'Riviera' some big hitters here!Rode 15 miles south along coast until first beach campsite.12.30.tent up washing done and food eaten and a quick snifter. Laid in shady hammock listening to cicadas-hard life!
Plan a walk to beach later for a swim and maybe a beer.Not as cheap as CZ-petrol about £1 per litre.Later..............................Nice pebble beach and lovely seas. Had a good swim and a walk along coast. Prices are on a par with the Uk but better scenery (depends where you are looking tho doesn't it-Angie)Probably move up coast tomorrow or leave luggage here and tour locally. Be good to give the bike and me a rest from the luggageIts quite expensive here to what I have spent so far...£35 per day compared to tight Yorkshire man rates of £10 max (not including petrol-which is the biggest expense by far).Had tea-kebab style meat salad with boiled potatoes and two beers £15.living it up!Must go wild camping again soon!Am getting more scots by the minute-must stop wearing this kilt-Causes a stir tho!
