he rides again :) - TonyDevil - 18-04-2006 finally got the bugger back together! got the part from the metal guy, was a good fit, only minor brute force & a little ignorance required. scott oiler is on prime, still trying to get the last 2 air bubbles out. I was supprised to find the battery still had a full charge. having been stood for 6 months with no fuel in it i didnt expect it to start. It finally turned over just as the battery was about to give up. coughed and spluttered for a bit, till i put some new fuel in, then ran sweet as a nut took it for a blast as soon as i got it started and the only thing that i hadnt got right was a wingmirror. the fecker kept coming loose everytime i hit 3 figures on the straights (it was a private road of course ) ahhhhh yes. my toy is back i'll try and get some pics on once i've actually got round to cleaning it. decided to ride it to work today and i actually looked forward to going, but only for the journey big grin T. he rides again :) - tdm850rider - 18-04-2006 Isn't it sweet to get back on the road again? Spring is not here till I am in the saddle.
