well after some effort on the tdm, i could not get what i wanted anymore.

i have traded to

I thought about one of those, lots to loike about it...but I'm 6'3" and couldn't live with the lack of comfort. Pegs too high! Let us know how you get on!

well i have the bike back home.

have fitted a scottoiler and reset all the suspension settings to standard, as you never know what the previous owner has done.

but then the weather turned, rained all afternoon.

so had a quick go at the downpipes with fine grade paper and alloy wheel cleaner, with a little effort the rusty look will soon be gone.

that i a lovely bike.thought about buying one when they came out.but its still a sport riding position which is what i dont want so walked away-still nice bikes tho.

One of the parents brings his daughter to the school I work in on one of these - has a set of lovely-sounding cans that you can hear from inside the building!!
