Feck it I say and put the clobber on and set off for fuel.

Wanted to go somewhere afar so decided to go to Hawes and then the A59 caff near Skipton.

trying out my Garmin sat nav too (bought £50 off facebook)

Got on the Motodragway to Haslingden and then took the back roads over Pendle Ski p[lace and through Sawley into Giggleswick.

didn't settle on Settle, but stretched the legs at the viaduct to take the air and sights

its an old 550, free updates and I got all the fittings too.

lost the security key yesterday so its fixed in position till I get a new one

The Hawes Effect - Studley Ramrod - 12-03-2018

Good price that. :good:

Same as mine, they're great for an old satnav.  I got a security key thingy off ebaygum fer a fiver delivered.  The key tends to work loose from the holder, nearly lost mine a few times on the euro tour, so best to keep it in a pocket rather than on a lanyard around yer neck loike wot oi did. Rolleyes

The Hawes Effect - dablik - 12-03-2018

That's a crackin price for an 550, people wanting silly money for them on ebay that you may as well spend the extra for a new one...maybe, the Evo is a great helmet, i find even at motorway speeds with the chin bar up it's fine, only put it down when raining.

I learn the hard way, might try and use a thumbscrew instead. have to take the satnav off anyway so it'll be easier

Thanks for sharing the ride Drewpy. It was a cracking day yesterday, I had chores to do so didn’t get out on the bike ‘til late afternoon. Had a run through to Dumfries and back by Cummertrees and Annan. Got back just before dark and it was getting nippy. No photos though so you’ll have to take my word for it!
