Yet another flavour of hand guards tried! - Cavey - 07-12-2006

I've just fitted some of these. Cycra Hand Guards. Three reasons why I chose these ones really.

1. I couldn't be bothered to tap the bar end weights.

2. I have non standard bars that are very low and forward so there's not a lot of clearance from the tank and fairing on full lock.

3. I don't like the idea of my hands being 'stuck' from being able to move off the end of the bars, in the event of an emergency.

Anyway, I got them from an Ebay shop http://stores.ebay.co.uk/suzukispecialists. They didn't advertise who the manufacturer is so when they turned up, I had a look at the Cycra website and found that they do some with rubbery bits round the outside that offer more protection from the cold. I would have bought these, if I'd known but I just thought I'd say that they are simple but effective guards.

Cheers. [Image: good.gif]
