tried repetedly to get this done, but although it comes up with the paypal logo all I get is a message telling me thet paypal is not an autorized method of payment, I am more than little reluctant to just give my credit card details

Pardon my ignorance but what is a Supporting Member? I thought it was a mate who held you up when you have had to much to drink.

Curious though about the quote below from dapleb re 2 year membership, but when to go to "My Controls"/"Option"/"Purchase Paid Subscription" it quotes 1 year? for 5 squids.

Thanks MB, the 2 years was for those that funded Carpe before the new subscription system came about. If you are one of these then please lettuce snow and I'll update yer membership.

Do you know what email address the paypal was coming from MB? Then I can go and check the records.

When I go to "My Controls"/"Option"/"Purchase Paid Subscription" I can't seem to go any further.
Now today (Mar 20th) is the last day of my paid sub... I may find a change tomorrow... If I don't is there a back-up?

Dapleb,,,I'll try again in a few days.
I know from lots of past experience that paypal IS crap.

I try never to use it, I once got ripped off for £600 through it. Eventualy got it back but it gave me a £75 charge on my bank account which they would'nt refund.

Is there no other payment methods carpe could use via the intersqet?
