Riderscan Blind Spot Mirror - JMC - 06-11-2018 Anyone here used one of these ? I saw one on a bike recently and it looked like a useful accessory, not to replace a lifesaver but more of an addition to safety.  https://youtu.be/A8VfwLFQnrA Riderscan Blind Spot Mirror - fixitsan - 06-11-2018 Quote:Anyone here used one of these ? I've had one. It has it's uses, but not enough for me to feel that it was worth buying another for the next bike I bought.  You need to look towards it and (if necessary) refocus your eyes. However, if it is positioned close to your eye line the movement of a vehicle coming up alongside you can get your attention..... Riderscan Blind Spot Mirror - alanfavell - 06-11-2018 I thought they had died out. Riderscan Blind Spot Mirror - bjorge - 07-11-2018 Just ordered (really cheap) a coulpla blind spot adhesive mirrors, thinking of placing them in the part of the mirror where I can only spot my shoulders ![]() Riderscan Blind Spot Mirror - alanfavell - 07-11-2018 Mirrors r good but never forget.......   Move Your Head, Else You're Dead....... :good: Riderscan Blind Spot Mirror - bjorge - 07-11-2018 Yeah, but any help would improve safety.... I find the most terrifying moments in MC driving is changing lanes in heavy traffic, especially as turning your head means no forward sight... Dunno if these fisheye mirrors would actually work, but it would be reassuring if they do... It doesn't replace rear view mirrors but it is great for doing a quick check to see if anything is about to pass you on motorways.  Really useful if driving abroad when vehicles seem to pass you on both sides in towns and on motorways. |
