3vd/mk1 - Periodic Servicing Part Numbers - TonyDevil - 21-07-2008 <b>SPARK PLUGS</b> ~~~~~~~~~~ standard : DPR9EA-9 NGK part#: 5329 IRIDIUM : DPR8EIX-9 NGK part#: 2202 <b>OIL FILTERS</b> ~~~~~~~~~ OEM part#: 4X7-13440-90-00 HiFlo part#: HF145 K&N part#: KN-145 <b>AIR FILTER</b> ~~~~~~~~ OEM part#: 1AE-14451-00-00 HiFlo part#: HFA4403 K&N part#: YA-7585 <b>FRONT SPROCKET, WASHER & NUT PART NUMBERS</b> ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ <b>locking tab washer 90215-21022-00</b> - replace each time you refit the nut <!--coloro:#FF0000--><!--/coloro-->Front sprocket nut 90179-18020-00 - old part number<!--colorc--> <!--/colorc--> <b>unofficial front sprocket nut upgrade 90179-18667-00</b> (its larger and uses the whole of the outputshaft thread) - YZF750/YZF1000 part, also listed as a FZR6 (?) official upgrade <b>front sprocket number 3VD-17460-00-00</b> - IMHO ([img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif[/img]) aftermarket front sprockets aint worth using on a mk1 especially JT which seems the most common in the UK and aint a good fit on the splines <b>CARBURETOR SERVICE PARTS</b> ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ <b>Airbox rubbers 3GM-14453-00-00</b> (need 2 of them) these get hard over time, normally last a good few years <b>emulsion tube / needle jet 3GM-14141-94-00</b> (need 2 of them but get factory pro parts from straightline racing instead as they dont wear like the yammie ones) <b>float bowl gaskets 3GM-14997-00-00</b> (<!--coloro:#FF0000--><!--/coloro-->still need to confirm this part number [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sorry.gif[/img] EDIT: confirmed on 2009/07/15- same part# for mk2 aswell<!--colorc--> <!--/colorc-->) - if you're having the carbs apart and dont replace them chances are you'll have the carbs apart again in a few hundred clicks [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif[/img] just like me elf and catsbum <b>Carb rubbers 3LD-13597-00-00</b> (need 2 of them) ps. i believe these are the same on mk2 up to 1999) pps. a how-to guide for carb servicing is here |
