Sorry not being very present on the forum since several months, there was some time ago a big loss in my family and last months/years were really hard times.

I promise I'll soon be there again in a better mood, I mean enough good mood to appreciate Dapleb funny quotes / fixitsan long posts / all other forum members and even some mint jelly - well, not quite sure about the latter.

Had to leave work early , phone call from the wife GET HOME NOW , ITS YOUR DAD, been expecting this for a while , gets to the care home that he is in and  he is lying there not quite right as rain but he had to be resuscitated by the doctor , sporadic pulse and low blood pressure, and it looks like a chest infection so , sorry for your loss , glad you are back on the forum :good:

Been there. I hope he recovers ok. It's harder for them when they're getting on in years. Comes to us all.
