Help Required To Source A Stereo Lead - TDMTAM - 30-12-2009 I have been trying to find a lead for the head set in my helmet it is a coiled lead with a 3.5mm stereo plug at one end & a F/M 6pin mini DIN socket at the other. Have tried googling it tried Maplin & dont seem to be able to find anything could be me not searching for the right thing but I am FIIK. Failing that I'll have to buy another set of helmet headphones. There is only going to be 2 wires to solder. (no ipod vs MP3 arguments please) Do the speakers connect through an intercom unit like Starcom ? Where does the 6-pin plug in? I take it the 3.5mm jack goes to headphone socket on an audio device? Makes it load enough to hear over the wind noise with ear plugs in but still hear but not enough to drown out to much of the traffic noise.
