Keeping Warm - Chris - 03-01-2010

These are at Lidls from tomorrow (in Ireland at least) Wrist things look "handy" for keeping yer wrists cosy.
I use knee things but without the hole - def worth while.

Starting a diesel van, I've heard that it's an idea to turn the glow plugs on several times (ignition on & off) before cold starting in negative temps, is this worthwhile or not?

Cheers, C

No idea but Since it is heating, reckon it might. I do this anyways so would be interested too.

Depends on the vehicle.
'02 or newer you shouldn't need to because they stay on for 60 seconds after starting but older vehicles do benefit from this practice.
