Keeping Warm - Chris - 03-01-2010 These are at Lidls from tomorrow (in Ireland at least) Wrist things look "handy" for keeping yer wrists cosy. I use knee things but without the hole - def worth while. Starting a diesel van, I've heard that it's an idea to turn the glow plugs on several times (ignition on & off) before cold starting in negative temps, is this worthwhile or not? I do this anyways so would be interested too. Keeping Warm - Guest - 03-01-2010 Depends on the vehicle. '02 or newer you shouldn't need to because they stay on for 60 seconds after starting but older vehicles do benefit from this practice. |
