Halfrauds - coolbox - 24-03-2010 After following the very informative topic on Horns I decided to give my local Halfrauds some trade by purchasing a Stebel Nautilus from them. I visited the Scarborough branch and not locating the product myself I asked for assistance via the young lady at the till. she tannoyed for someone...So like a mug I stood there for ages waiting and after a long time I took a walk around the store to see if anyone was on the shop floor,no one other than about 4 other customers. returning to the tills no one had turned up to help. As far as I could see there appeared to be 2 staff, one on the till and a bloke in the upper office. Now I think it is good business if someone is wanting a product, to give hard earned cash.....to relieve that person as soon as possible of said cash in exchange for the product...thats how business works. I was fed up of waiting and had a sudden tourettes attack. I stood in the middle of the store and shouted at the top of my voice (politely asking for service and enquiring if they wanted to sell a product) Lo and behold the man in the office got of his arse and tannoyed for service... next thing a rather scruffy assistant appeared and I got my product. At the checkout the young lady was apologetic and explained that they were short staffed and weren't allowed to hire any extra. so Halfrauds stop spending cash on stupid adverts and get more staff!!! Thats the last time Im gonna stand like a daft sod waiting to give you money... ( now were is the best place on a MK1 for a Nautilus...anyone? ) Halfrauds - markallinson - 24-03-2010 Yeah and when they do turn up they don't know what they're talking about! Halfrauds - Matlock - 24-03-2010 Yes, Hellfrauds is possibly the direst shopping experience you can get these days. I've been to two stores in the North West recently. In both cases there were very few staff and those that were there were scruffy and unhelpful. A bad attitude to customers seems to pervade the whole place. That said, their 'professional' range of tools is good value, if it wasn't for those, I woudn't be seen dead in the place. Halfrauds - TonyDevil - 24-03-2010 the manager of the Southend branch is totally different, a biker himself and more than helpful. even came out and helped me fit an exhaust bandage at no charge had good experiences with the Oxford Cowley branch too, replaced a ratched spanner where the damage wasnt covered by the warranty and was well over 3 years old (1 year on moving parts, rest is life time) Halfrauds - dapleb - 24-03-2010 <!--quoteo(post=156095:date=Wed 24th Mar 2010, 02:47 PM:name=coolbox)-->QUOTE(coolbox @ Wed 24th Mar 2010, 02:47 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><!--quotec-->( now were is the best place on a MK1 for a Nautilus...anyone? )<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd--> ...time to wheel out the good ole trusty picture again Thomas.
