Not sure wheter this belongs here or in thieving bastards. Has anybody bought stuff there recently. 50 quid for a choke cable. 9 quid for a rubber grommit you know the ones with the nut in the fairings.

Is there any where else cheaper to by parts??

Cheers

Rono - I bought a cam chain tensioner last year. They wanted €120 and I offerred them €90 and they took it.
You can get the fairing screws in a set for a couple of euro - cotters in Ballymount have them, look them up at Cottermc.com
They will also do genuine Yamaha parts which think he gets from his brother in the US who owns a bike shop over there. Worth a try anyway.
Failing that I have bought Yamaha parts from Crossans in Newry and anything over £50 (sterling) is shipped for free.
Hope that helps,
APW

Crossans are very good for tyres too. I find it just as quick and cheaper to buy Yam parts in from the UK. Fowlers are good.

"Busters" used to a pack of 8, plus alloy screws, Though only order from them if you are ordering a lot of other stuff.
Very high post charges.

Those prices look very reasonable.

Any idea where's good for the fiaring screen screws(think there 7 of them from memory). I changed from a standard screen to a tall screen for the winter and will be reverting back to the shorter screen for the summer. The plastic screw heads are quite soft and are now rounded so obviously i'd like to fit replacements if they were any way reasonable.

Thanks

Chris
