Sold, had to take a huge loss...£4.6k.
The bike I bought had lost just £3.2k from new, even if driven longer. No such word as "fairness" in a marketð - just bought the wrong bike (everyone wants a T7 these days).
But I'm ever more satisfied with the 9er, so who cares?

Ive never bought a bike new, I swoop in at the three to four years old mark. Watching the previous owner wince in pain at the loss. Ive never paid over £6K for a bike.

I usually point out no grease around suspension linkages, mumble about shim check due soon. Unfortunately, its a buyers market in certain models.
Any rusty bolts, I always say its gonna cost to sort those out I always pay in cash.
A wad of notes soon brings a sale. Do the HPI check on my phone, once we have a deal.

Iâve only bought three bikes in the last 47 years, Iâve still got two of those and still ride the other one regularly as well,(it was sold to a friend) oh and Iâve got a 22 year old car Iâve had since it was 8 months old - I guess you could say I donât like change!
