I met TDMPaul today and had a short chat. He only lives a few miles away.
He has lots of MK2 850 TDM stuff which I have encouraged him to advertise here. Paul is a collector rather than a seller. He is willing to part with some original MK2 graphics and the luggage trailer which is shown in the hard panniers thread.

Got the rack and panniers this morning. Cheers Favs and Paul. There is however, one crucial component missing, and I've a feeling it's still bolted onto your bike Paul.

You might need to remove the side plastics to get at the bolts.

Mine is for the mk1 but it's only the top case arms and not a full pannier rack, still it uses the same position for the brace across the seat, pretty sure the mk2 should fit on yours, goes only one way which will be obvious, i had problems trying to fit different rack from a mk2..

I think the brace is identical, well certainly looks it going off the pics I've seen.

Luckily for me, someone's already fitted a mk2 rack to a mk1 and documented it all, very helpful.

yep that item #14 is usually missing when people are selling their used wing rack on Ebay or Facebook as my beady eye usually spots it's absenceÂ
