Hastings Direct - nanook - 22-03-2011 Hastings direct seemed to offer a good deal....'till I phoned them to change my address. Robbing bastards took £25.00.....yes that's right...£25 admin fee! And there was no way I couldn't 'not' pay it as it's a legal requirement to let insurers know of changes to you policy details. Try charging Hastings for your phone back to them. I changed my address and it cost me even more. Apart from the £25 admin fee, the new address was a slightly higher risk so I got shafted for another £50. 3 months later when the renewal came in, I halved the cost by moving to another company. Mad, but damm irritating. |
