Now I've Got Something To Aim For. - Matlock - 17-09-2020 I'm very pleased my old niner is up to 105,000 miles with no major issues, but one of the Honda Crosstourer forum members (my other bike is a Crosstourer) has just hit 500,000 KMs, that's 310686 miles. I can clearly pick a reliable bike ![]() Now I've Got Something To Aim For. - Studley Ramrod - 17-09-2020 Crikey, that's a lot of saddle time.  Must cost a small fortune in tyres, servicing and fuel to do all those miles. Generous estimate of £10 per 100 miles for fuel and it's £31k !! Now I've Got Something To Aim For. - Matlock - 17-09-2020 Yes, I hope he does his own mechanicing, the 16k mile service costs around £500-£700!!!! And they eat tyres, it's the only bike I've ever owned where the front wears at the same rate, if not quicker than the back.  Now I've Got Something To Aim For. - Catteeclan - 21-09-2020 Mandis cbf1000 wears the tyres about the same too. Can feel when I push it around for her it's heavy on the front. |
