The Great Garage Clear Out (Part 1). - Matlock - 15-12-2020

As I’ve put on here elsewhere, I’ll be parting with my TDM900 in the near future due to lack of use, as it doesn’t look like I’ll be commuting much in the ‘new normal’, and lack of space, when I move house in the new year. Like Highlander, there can be only one! Motorbike that is.
So, in preparation, here’s some of my stock of parts & accessories that I’ve stockpiled over the years. They can be collected in a Covid secure manner (so no kissing/hugging existing 900 riders Wub ) from Formby, Merseyside, or you can pay by paypal and I can post at cost to you in the UK. PM me with what you want and I’ll PM you back, within a day, with confirmation, a postage cost if required and my Paypal details. Sales are on a first-come-first-served basis and I’ll update the thread when a sale is confirmed. I've got some more goodies I'll be posting on here in the next few days, including luggage and luggage racks. Anything unsold after the holidays will be going on the Bay of Es.
Oh, and please don’t comment in this thread with “PM sent”, it drives our more curmudgeonly members into a frenzy, which can only be stopped with gentle massaging of the shoulders using 10/40 semi synth.

Any questions, please PM me.

So, first up a genuine new, old stock rubber front master cylinder gasket. £10

Next, a genuine new, old stock, sidestand switch. £25
[Image: 50723906017_cdc30049ec_z.jpg]

An LED charging indicator. These need to be wired in on a switched circuit as near to the battery as possible. They glow green when the generator is charging, amber when marginal and red when there’s insufficient change going to the battery. £5

A rear wheel axle, complete with spacers and nut £10.
[Image: 50723905997_2957efe434_z.jpg]

A right hand side switch cluster. N.B. This is only for the early 900s (2002 & 2003 MY I believe) where a light switch is fitted. It won’t fit later 900s where the lights come on with the ignition. No longer available new from Yamaha. £30.

<div>
A starter motor. Works fine on the bench. I believe these fit the whole TDM/XTZ/TRX family, but check parts numbers before buying £50.SOLD

A pair of new, pattern coils. I think these were for the 850, but fit the 900 too.  They have a better HT connection than the OEM 900 ones, which is why I bought them, but I never fitted them £45. SOLD

A genuine new, old stock clutch cover gasket £10. SOLD

A clutch holder/spanner. I believe this fits all the TDM/XTZ/TRX family. It certainly fits the XTZ and Mk1 850. £12 SOLD

Two throttle cables. One genuine new, old stock £30. One used, but seemingly in good condition £10. SOLD

A rear master cylinder reservoir £5. SOLD

A rear brake caliper. This was the OEM one from my bike. I bought another, reconditioned it and fitted that so the bike wasn’t off the road. It will have done around 70k miles. As you can see, the piston is marked, but it may polish out as I believe these are stainless steel. It’ll certainly need new seals £20. SOLD

An MRA Vario screen. In good condition, but not perfect, it has some light marks and scratches, but no cracks and the vario bit works. It has been fitted for around 95k miles £50. SOLD

A stainless steel radiator guard, brand unknown £15. SOLD.

A Givi BF05 tank bag lock ring & bolts for Givi Tanklock tank bags £8. SOLD

An OEM rear shock. This one is the original from my bike and has approx 60k miles on it. I swapped it for a low mileage used one and, if I'm honest, I couldn’t really notice much difference. Externally it’s in good nick and not leaking. £50 SOLD
</div>
And finally, something for the 850 boys and girls, a clutch cover. I think it's off a MK2. I only have it as I wanted to try the longer actuator arm on my XTZ, but it didn't fit. The circlip holding the actuator arm on is missing £10. SOLD
