I present the regulatatron voltatron 400.
Constructed by the electrical dept to make sure the volts dont get low enough to trip the inverter (which then wont auto restart).
This should allow me to leave it all plugged in and the dehum to do its thing as it needs to..if we ever get to that stage.

Has been an extremely reliable ve-hickle...so far.
Meanwhile the solar system seems to have managed to miss all the good weather and expire!! Wont charge over 12.5 Volts. So no use at all. Grrrr.
My mate has similar set up and same controller and he reported his "controller" managed to switch modes to 24V on its own somehow when it was real hot and charged his 12V batteries to 17.7V SIZZLE (â ââ _â ââ )
So gonna try a different brand controller and hopefully that fixes problem... if the weather turns shart ya will know its fixed!!

You want an MPPT controller thats man enough for the job, particularly on over voltage on the input. Over rate things in case it gets toasty in there

There dont seem to be many mid price controllers LH. The MPPT stuff is many schplongs. Will give this diff brand non MPPT Juan a go...and see if it also fries!
