I've also got a mate coming on a BMW (R1100s), if you're on a 11/1200GS it will definitely be the BM's stoping and waiting for the TDMs to catch up !! They have changed their booking site. They will not accept my booking because I could not give my city (anybody who was on the RTT will know how close to a city we live!), did not have a postcode (apart from Dublin there are no postcodes in the Republic) and would not give them my mobile number (why should I?). I have sent them an email expressing my delight with their new site and await their reply with interest. In the meantime I have no ferries to go to and from Bellingham.[/rant] September G2G 2008 - dandywarhol - 08-08-2008 Couldn't we sort something up from this side of the (wee) pond? If you'd like to PM me your times/dates etc. I'll give it a try. Its time and a half so I cant pass up. Can any one remember if they had a sofa in the bunkhouse. If they do I can get up early on saturday and blast up to a meeting point with just a tank bag and maggot to sleep in. Plan would be to then join in for a ride, have a meal at the pub and get pished later. I could do with out lugging a tent around as I will be leaving early even if I have to pay for a bed and not get one. Thoughts please. September G2G 2008 - Hawmaw - 11-08-2008 You're keen Danny. I can't honestly remember if there's a sofa ! September G2G 2008 - dandywarhol - 11-08-2008 I can't remember what was in the kitchen area either Danny but why not take a sleeping bag and airbed if you're pushed........... |
