Did I ever introduce myself here?  Don't think so....

Staffy from South Oz.  Had my '07 TDM900 for a few months now and am making additions here and there.....

Kia Ora.

Seems to be quite a thriving TDM community in Oz. A bloke on the ADV forum in the TDM thread is doing some very interesting things to his 9hundy. It looks a proper continent crusher.

All the best.

Yeah I've noticed quite a few aussies on there. I'd be great to meet up with some other South aussies at some point.

Greetings! Long-time lurker finally signs up, etc,etc.

I'll own up straight away and say my TDM is a TRX but we can still be friends can't we? Smile

Rode a friends mk1 when they were new & loved it but never had enough pennies in the kitty. Then life got in the way of things until a few years ago when I found "the right bike" , a mk2 for the right money. All set to pull the trigger then found out the online seller was a Walter Mitty type who was apparently in need of someone to talk to....Then stumbled upon a local TRX which had done as many kms on its sides as on the tyres & had to have it. After a lot of pigging on with the carbs it now runs great & I love it, but my now ageing, damaged (though still beautiful...he he) body demands the cosseting of an upright riding position, a more arse-friendly seat & the option of being able to carry more stuff  than a tank-bag/jet-pack combination can accomodate so a 900 will be on the cards when I have the readies . OK you can wake up now..

Yeah. When a 9hundy rider suggests riding some dirt roads at the weekend, it is a completely different proposition to what an 850 rider would mean. Allegedly.

>>> INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE <<< - Vandis - 18-07-2014

Hi all,

I am from Hungary, planning to pick up my new bike, TDM 900 A (2008) in a few weeks. It has run 6000 km this far, I will be the second owner.

I've been riding motorcycle for 4 years. 2,5 years with Honda VTR 250, than 1,5 years on NC700SA.

I am quite short but fell in love with TDM once so there is nothing to do. I am busy looking up the best lowering kits and lowered seats.

I am here to gain knowledge and far away friends Smile

(Pics later, I will have my bike in around 3 weeks.)
