Quote:Well I took the plunge today and bought a yellow 2003. It's got heated grips, Acerbis handguards, double bubble screen and a centre stand.

Should be picking her up early next week, once she has a fresh MOT.
Ooo, another local. Need to get round to organising a Hampshire meet again this year.

Just realised i've dropped a slight bollock and bought a bike with 23.5k miles. Should have rwad mire about service intervals! Oh well, at least she's shiny!!

Quote:Hello all, used to have TRX850 many years ago that I loved. Currently riding an Aprilia mille but might be doing some touring this year (time and money permitting) and want something a bit more suited for the job. Loved my trx so might dip into TDM ownership and just having a read of the tech on here to work out what to get.

Welcome Jamie. Any questions just ask, there's great knowledge on here.

Greetings - I'm new here (lol) :rotflmmfao:

I like Dunlopads, scraping the pegs, most of the roads in Wales, and fiddling with my suspension  :good:

Greetings to bikerwilf, and thanks for taking up the invitation.

For you others, I should explain that we met on Monday when I picked up an eBay purchase. He lives over near The Wash where you can't see the horizon above the daisies, is a thoroughly nice lad and if I'm not wrong will be an asset since he brings experience as a race mechanic.

Welkom bij ons (?)

>>> INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE <<< - redrex - 13-03-2014

Ello, I'm John from Harwich in Essex. Just bought my second TDM850, had a blue one a few years ago for a short time, regretted selling it and always maintained it was the most comfortable bike I've ever had. I think I joined this club back then but I couldn't find myself when I looked in the members list so maybe not......

Got the itch again last month and found my new bike bike on Ebay. It used to belong to someone on here (Willsy) and is still in excellent condition.

Not ridden it yet, unless you count the 50 metres to my garage (which was awesome) but I should be taking it out tomorrow. Wish I hadn't sold all my biking gear, I'm gonna look like a right numpty in hi-viz overalls and steelies.....

>>> INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE <<< - dablik - 13-03-2014

That's gone a fair way then, Wilsy is from Lanc's somewhere, remember seeing his bike at a fettle day in Liverpool a few years ago, nice bike i seem to remember, it also had the master engineers touch for summit...

>>> INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE <<< - BSM - 20-03-2014

Hello all. I've been a member since November so time I introduced myself I guess! I've ridden bikes for longer than I care to remember and worked for Motag MC training for 8 years. I gave up over a decade ago and didn't think I'd be back on two wheels again. Then I met this mad woman fresh from Ireland and after asking her to marry me, she gave me her TDM!!! Not sure which I love most. God I hope she doesn't come on here! Anyone know this Kelpie-lass?
