>>> INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE <<< - triumph1300 - 08-02-2014 That I am, the BMW has gone, the TDM is on the road, it suits me very nicely thanks!
>>> INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE <<< - Studley Ramrod - 08-02-2014 :welcome: to da club Ken !  I'm sure you'll be really pleased with your purchase. ![]() >>> INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE <<< - dablik - 08-02-2014 Hello Ken and welcome, so you got paddy's ex then :good: good buy it's a lovely bike. >>> INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE <<< - NismO - 12-02-2014 Hi All, my name is Guy and I am from Basingstoke. I'm just about to buy a 2003 TDM900, which I will be using mainly for commuting to the station, bit also a bit of fun when time allows. Does £2400 sound about right for a very tidy 2003 with 24k miles and service history? >>> INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE <<< - dapleb - 12-02-2014 :welcome:  Do ya work for Shell or Esso? ![]()  Price sounds a lille steep but the 9'er bhoyos will prolly have a more educated idea on price....or check oot the price suppository: http://www.carpe-tdm.net/ipb/index.php?showtopic=22345&page=3 >>> INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE <<< - Studley Ramrod - 12-02-2014 :welcome: to da club Nismo ! >>> INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE <<< - NismO - 12-02-2014 Nope, not Shell or Esso. Yeah price does seem a bit high after looking at the price suppository. That is a price from a dealer though, so I guess that doesn't help. Can't seem to find much else for a better price on EBay or Autotrader though. ð >>> INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE <<< - paddy900 - 12-02-2014 Welcome to Carpe Ken, Hope you have many years of fun on the yellow flyer.... >>> INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE <<< - dablik - 12-02-2014 Quote:Nope, not Shell or Esso. Seems about right for a dealer price, private you can do a bit better, BigDaves bike is still up for sale, mileage is a bit more but it's not really a concern to be honest, i would travel for the right bike, often worthwhile..  Here ya go >>> INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE <<< - RogerD - 16-02-2014 Hi All Yesterday paid a deposit on a very clean and tidy 2004 after a test ride. Was not exactly the plan, but what else could I do... Collecting it in the week. It will be bike #2 in the garage...I needed something a bit smaller and lighter, that still fits the 6' 6" frame (mine you understand).  Looking forward to learning loads from extended reading sessions here (or asking stupid questions... :good: ) >>> INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE <<< - dapleb - 16-02-2014 :welcome:  >>> INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE <<< - Gdog - 16-02-2014 Welcome Roger, you'll have to post some photos when it's home. >>> INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE <<< - dablik - 16-02-2014 Hello Roger, good choice, hope you enjoy it.......I used to have a dog called Roger ![]() >>> INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE <<< - RogerD - 16-02-2014 Thanks for the welcome folks.  I will post some pics when i get the bike. I'm looking forward to getting it, as all the previous bikes have been 4's (except my Trident some years ago), and it feels like a real light weight to me, but really nice to ride.@dablik......hope that he was a good one!  I need to check further, but is there a downloadable manual anywhere? I've found a link to one in Russian, but tha'ts not much use to me!! Maybe I should learn Russian.....or not.... >>> INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE <<< - spodge - 16-02-2014 Quote:Nope, not Shell or Esso.I paid £2300 for my '03 as well, dealer price with warranty 26k miles. Wanted a "safe" deal. BUT didn't know about Carpe orry:wish I had done, but you live and learn..... >>> INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE <<< - spodge - 16-02-2014 @RogerD here is the site to use http://www.jbx9.t15.org/index.php Brilliant site, as everyone will attest. >>> INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE <<< - RogerD - 16-02-2014 Quote:@RogerD here is the site to use http://www.jbx9.t15.org/index.php Aha.....cool. Found the Manual. wiring etc. Brilliant!  Many thanks spodge  >>> INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE <<< - NismO - 20-02-2014 Well I took the plunge today and bought a yellow 2003. It's got heated grips, Acerbis handguards, double bubble screen and a centre stand. Should be picking her up early next week, once she has a fresh MOT. >>> INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE <<< - jamie850 - 21-02-2014 Hello all, used to have TRX850 many years ago that I loved. Currently riding an Aprilia mille but might be doing some touring this year (time and money permitting) and want something a bit more suited for the job. Loved my trx so might dip into TDM ownership and just having a read of the tech on here to work out what to get. >>> INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE <<< - dapleb - 21-02-2014 :welcome: |
