The Mt2011 Germany Meet Up Thread - Trevini - 10-01-2011
For those that were toying with the idea of doing the ring on the way back - dates not fully posted as yet, BUT, you can now hire on board cameras see linky here. No doubt hugely expensive, but cheaper than buying one if you don't own one already. What it does mean, though, is that videoing is now allowed, unlike before when it was banned (not well policed I have to say). Prices now 24euro/lap.

Holiday form as been signed by Manger so I'm committed now
I've booked from 20 th June and I'm not due back until 11th July.
Rough plan is a couple of stops on the way out maybe Belgium / Luxemborg and Heidleburg.
From the campsite its not far to the Czech border or even into Poland. My housemate comes from Jena which is about 40 miles North so Ill make a trip there as well.
For the return I quite fancy seeing if I can get as far as Slovenia so it would be straight south and across Austia. Return route would be anyones guess.
This is all just 'back of fag packet sketch' ing and everything will be subject to change. Maybe I get some better offers/ideas at the meeting.

The cafe will be open don't worry. That was just my (poor) attempt at humour.
I'll give out mobile numbers etc nearer the time if you did want to meet up. That's not too bad a run from Bristol to there via M25/26, as the cafe is about 300 yards from the A20/M26 junction. Just turn left off the slip road at the roundabout and it's on the right. I reckon that's about 3 hours from Bristol to there at a comfortable pace rather than silly speeds.
