Rtt13 Monschau 14Th - 19Th July Discussion. - MarkyMark - 11-07-2013 Can't keep up with these things, they keep u-turning. Not a clue. Rtt13 Monschau 14Th - 19Th July Discussion. - Matlock - 11-07-2013 I think you need the breathalyser for France Darren, Halfrauds sell them. I think the froggies also have laws about reflective bits on helmet & clothes but don't enforce them for foreign riders. Rtt13 Monschau 14Th - 19Th July Discussion. - paddy900 - 11-07-2013
January 2013 - the French government announced that the implementation of the sanction for drivers not carrying a breathalyser â a fine of â¬11 â has been postponed indefinitely.
So theoretically you are still required to carry a self-test breathalyser when driving in France but there is no current legislation demanding a fine for non-compliance.
The original official announcement stated that one unused, certified breathalyser must be produced showing the French certification mark NF. Carrying two single-use breathalysers will ensure that if one is used or damaged, you will still have a spare to produce. The breathalyser produced has to be in date - single-use breathalysers normally have a validity of twelve months.

This is taken from the AA website :good: Rtt13 Monschau 14Th - 19Th July Discussion. - Matlock - 11-07-2013 Cheers Paddy. :good: Rtt13 Monschau 14Th - 19Th July Discussion. - dablik - 11-07-2013 Chris i may have a couple of these from last year,, unused there prolly done for after August and as i wont be abroad this year they may as well get used.. let me know if your interested,, will go look for them..Rtt13 Monschau 14Th - 19Th July Discussion. - Matlock - 11-07-2013 I'm OK thanks Cliff - I picked some up cheap off the 'net last month.
