Cheers Favs, built to last by the sounds of it. Smile  Mine will be a much more modest man cave, don't have a lot of garden width to work with.

Quote:Nope - probably more expensive at £350 for the timber alone -  no windows and the whole thing looks like a gingerbread house from Hansel & Gretel..................
We need piccys of this

Yellow one on charge

Now trying to decide which to do first - Brake service on the Fazer, or tyre change on the TDM ..............

Maybe the easy job - MRA screen on the K13  :good:

Took bike out for its first run after a respray, full service, shock rebuild, fork oil change and general refurb. Ran perfectly, though I was surprised that putting the forks back to standard height made such a difference, so will drop them by 10mm again. Still undecided as to what to do regarding decals/tuning fork roundels etc. Still a bit to do though it's a bit cold now, so plugged it into the optimate and tucked it in to its cover.
Oh, and fitted an 18 bulb led to the side light, fits in nicely. Sorry they're sideways, its the iphone![attachment=o7036][attachment=o7037]

Very nice Chrisr, I like those LEDs under your headlights.

Not been out in ages since the recent upgrades, so liner in jacket, long johns on under leathers and heated grips on...

- Polisport handguards worked a treat

- Powerbronze double bubble screen... Loved it

- HID headlight upgrade worked well

- Mirror extenders seen everything behind me

- Two finger clutch and brake levers upgrade... Sweet

Had this bike for over 3 years and everytime it blows me away with enjoyment.

Got out for ride (Loomies cafe; surprisingly busy with bikers). Lovely day, if cold. (chap opposite, who rides a triple, said I was mad). But plastic bags inside shoes, longjohns, winter gloves, large screen, heated grips and bar muffs, all did their job. Didn't need windsheater jacket and trousers which I took as well to put on underneath if got too cold, nor the heated seat - maybe next time.

(felt a little sorry for our friend on his new bandit 1255 with no heated grips and basic screen.)

What Have You Done To Your Tdm Today? - Studley Ramrod - 27-11-2015

Just spent 45 mins on the phone getting my multi-bike insurance policy sorted. Rolleyes   Could have got separate policies as I had 4 months left on my mk1 insurance, but that meant insuring the Fyffes Special without any NCB's which came out at over £200 TPFT.  Ended up losing 9 months towards my NCB and paying £8.49 to cancel the mk1 insurance and got the TPFT multi-bike insurance for £150. Smile

Gonna MOT the 9'er next, tomorrow if I find the time.

Sounds like a good deal. Who did you insure with Studley?

What Have You Done To Your Tdm Today? - Studley Ramrod - 29-11-2015

I stuck with Swinton, didn't want the additional hassle of shopping for a deal online.  They'd insured my mk1 with 3yrs NCB for £71 previously.

Got the 9'er MOT'd just one advisory for rear brake pads. Big Grin  Cheers to Dave for prepping it. :drinks:

Fired up straight off the button and ticked over nicely, the CSM working as intended. Smile  It was my first opportunity to do a few miles on it, the low speed stutter thingy was experienced but it didn't seem too bad to me. It's deffo not as smooth and useable below 2000rpm as the mk1 though.  Nice to have a rear brake that actually works, although I think the fronts need bleeding, they weren't as sharp as the mk1 wans are.  A bit of suspension twiddling and possibly some Renthal bars might be in order, a longer ride will help me decide there.

Just need to tax it, then it's banana republic here I come. Tongue

Excellent news, I was confident about it, but it's a relief now it's passed. I would have been really embarressed if not.

The airbox mod has been done, I suspect the low speed issue might be due to stale fuel in the system, try a shot of injector cleaner in the tank. I find it works well on my niner. You can really feel the difference.

Enjoy

Is this injector cleaner worth doing as a matter of course? (And if 'yes', my next question will be type etc)

Smile

Thanks

Lol  Thought you'd be pleased about that.

Hearing you loud and clear Dave, I tend to run some Redex in my mk1 so I'll get some suitable for fuel injection systems. :good:

It is if you tend to park the bike up for weeks at a time, seems to help stop any residue building up in the fuel system.  Redex for injection engines. Smile

My opinion is yes.

Cannot remember the type I use, I'll be picking some up from my local dealer soon, I'll repost then
