Welcome back - and with a touch of class

You'll need to correct your profile, though - your bike's aged 10 years

In The the united states there were two models that year- one for California and ine for the rest of the country. I assume it was an emissions thing. I will se about linking pics but i don't have any good ones yet. I just got the bike and the weather turned south the very next day. It's been pouring all week.

>>> INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE <<< - dapleb - 31-12-2011

Yeah California model has an EGR type system fitted.

Would be interestedto know what yer enjun number starts with starkers, 4DT or 3VD?

It would have to be 3VD, we only got the TDM in 1992 and 1993.

4DT is a mkI fart number prefix loike 3VD, relating to both '92 and '93 TDM's. Wondered if it were a way of distinguishing Californias from t'others or mayhaps its Japan vs their exported units.

Thought that was a model number, all I have ever seen is 3VD (and I believe 3VDC is California)
Don't we still have a Californian member or two?
