RTT07 - Ruppertshofen, Rhine Valley, Germany. - tony_tony - 28-12-2006 yep would like to attend this merry event and will know nearer the time. RTT07 - Ruppertshofen, Rhine Valley, Germany. - pilootdotcom - 11-01-2007 My Sprint ST and V-strom friends are warming up to the idea of coming along. I guess it will be of the long weekend variety, not an entire week. I was wondering two things.
[*]Is anybody consulting this event with the guys on the (huge) german TDM forum www.tdm-forum.net?[*]Is it perhaps a nice idea to ask the CLS guy to set up a stand during the weekend or so to install CLS chain-oilsystems for those that are interested (worked great during the V-strom gathering in Kulmbach)?
RTT07 - Ruppertshofen, Rhine Valley, Germany. - amarko5 - 12-01-2007 Hey Toneski any further details about possible camping ETC. need to get moving on booking and looking for ferries etc etc got me hols booked and granted for the 4th to 11th so got a start at least. RTT07 - Ruppertshofen, Rhine Valley, Germany. - dapleb - 12-01-2007 yes I think camping at the same site as the accom would be the bestest option as there are quite a few people who seem to want to camp. Precise model that's not gonna screw up distances to brakes etc?? .... which also reminds me where can you get 850 wing mirrors - i prefer them to the 900 ones? PS I should have a free pass in July to visit the Fatherland (not mine but you know what I mean) RTT07 - Ruppertshofen, Rhine Valley, Germany. - pilootdotcom - 16-01-2007 QUOTE(gazman @ Tue 16th Jan 2007, 02:20 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>....that reminds me what's the nearest Renthal or whatever match to the 900's handlebar ? RTT07 - Ruppertshofen, Rhine Valley, Germany. - wicklamulla - 16-01-2007 Hi Gazman, afaik the 99 onward TDM 850 has identical mirrors to the 900's. Or are you considering fitting the older style "square look" ones from the MKI's and 1996-1998 MKII's by any chance ?? regards WiCkY RTT07 - Ruppertshofen, Rhine Valley, Germany. - amarko5 - 17-01-2007 QUOTE(amarko5 @ Fri 12th Jan 2007, 08:01 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Hey Toneski any further details about possible camping ETC. need to get moving on booking and looking for ferries etc etc got me hols booked and granted for the 4th to 11th so got a start at least. BUMP Tony Need details bud RTT07 - Ruppertshofen, Rhine Valley, Germany. - gazman - 17-01-2007 QUOTE(E-njoy @ Tue 16th Jan 2007, 01:07 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>I got an AB-M alu bar "Superbike Type 0229 Standard Artikel-Nr.: 221-00464-15". The online place that sold me the last pair for my old bike stopped stocking them. Funnily enough I do have a spare 900 left hand wing mirror to replace the one broken on Hogmanay - thanks to my previous pre-crash bike getting blown over onto its right side - see, every cloud really does has a silver lining?
