(I'm 21 though) this also covers engine bars at £100, heated grips at £50 and luggage at £150. Its underwritten by Aviva so I know itâs a good policy (as I work for them) and at that price Iâm quite happy with it My renewal from MCE was £650 and that was only TPFT !!!!! My tips for cheap insurance? Put a low mileage down, and put the value of the vehicle as low as possible. This makes a big difference. anyones insurance due ? - treadman - 04-01-2012 sorry to be aa pain ,but i felt that i should put a heads up on this one, had an email of swinton ,thought i would try for quote me insurance is up for renewal in febuary, anyway , fully comp protected no-claims £59.58 Neil anyones insurance due ? - dablik - 05-01-2012 <!--quoteo(post=229742:date=Wed 4th Jan 2012, 08:35 PM:name=treadman)-->QUOTE(treadman @ Wed 4th Jan 2012, 08:35 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><!--quotec-->sorry to be aa pain ,but i felt that i should put a heads up on this one, had an email of swinton ,thought i would try for quote me insurance is up for renewal in febuary, anyway , fully comp protected no-claims £59.58 Neil<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd--> Na ya shudn of put that up Neil ,, , , , , , , , , , anyones insurance due ? - Rallyist - 05-01-2012 <!--quoteo(post=229742:date=Wed 4th Jan 2012, 08:35 PM:name=treadman)-->QUOTE(treadman @ Wed 4th Jan 2012, 08:35 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><!--quotec-->sorry to be aa pain ,but i felt that i should put a heads up on this one, had an email of swinton ,thought i would try for quote me insurance is up for renewal in febuary, anyway , fully comp protected no-claims £59.58 Neil<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd--> That must be for 'Of the Road cover' anyones insurance due ? - treadman - 05-01-2012 yer right there , i didn,t believe it ,i phoned em they said that is correct Neil anyones insurance due ? - chrisr - 19-01-2012 So this years insurance renewal arrived this morning, no claims, no convictions, 54 years old. We must all rise up and fight the machine - that is, refuse the renewal quote, then let the policy expire and come back at them as a 'new' customer. This is the only way you will get the best deal. All power to comparison sites. Fred anyones insurance due ? - RobC - 23-04-2012 I got the car renewal quote from Saga, complete with a price match promise - £550 for a Focus estate! Did the comparison site bit and got a quote of £400 including all the extras, so I phoned Saga and asked for a price match - they could only do it if I printed off all the details and sent them in. Bye-bye Saga, Hello Insure. I think the TDM insurance is up in August, I'll be doing the comparisons then too. I've not been with CN since I had an Aprilia written off about 7 or 8 years ago, they mucked about so much both before paying out and with retrieving extras off the bike that I avoid them now. anyones insurance due ? - ChrisG - 23-04-2012 <!--quoteo(post=240289:date=Mon 23rd Apr 2012, 08:17 AM:name=fredtucker)-->QUOTE(fredtucker @ Mon 23rd Apr 2012, 08:17 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><!--quotec-->All power to comparison sites.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd--> The comparison sites confuse me even more though. My car insurance renewall with Admiral came in about around £600, best quote I could get on Go Compare was around £400 with Bell. Phoned Admiral and they matched it. Admiral, Go Compare and Bell are all owned by the Admiral Group. I can't help thinking that they were intentionally trying to do me out of £200 with the initial renewall as as they dropped the price as soon as I asked. anyones insurance due ? - shaftdrive - 24-04-2012 <!--quoteo(post=240275:date=Sun 22nd Apr 2012, 10:29 PM:name=FILO)-->QUOTE(FILO @ Sun 22nd Apr 2012, 10:29 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><!--quotec-->Is that quote fully comp with the breakdown option ? , I only ask because I'm with C.N. myself and coming up for renewal<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd--> yep break down, legal cover , and a free doohickie for security , i forgot to mention in the first post that something similar happened last year and it was a comical phone call to set up my insurance, but it would take to long to write it down |
