Has been a wee bit warm here in the antipodes.
It isn't too bad here in old Sydney town, but other parts of the country are either on fire (Perth, Victoria), under water (central NSW) or sweltering with 37 deg C temps overnight (Melbourne, Monday night)

I really am most intrigued by all your snow stories - I've only seen snow 4 times.
The last time was back in September at the end of the snow season. It was a pleasant 25 deg whilst cycling down on the plains at Bright/Myrtleford, so, for a bit of an adventure, I drove up Mt Hotham and rode my mountain bike in the snow up there. Hilarious. The snowboarders and skiers clad in their gloves & padded jackets and pants were giving me strange looks - well, I was wearing lycra!
And, for those of you that know me, don't shudder too much in horror of the thought of me in lycra - I'm almost half the woman I used to be

I think were all gonna be feeling the effect on our insurance premiums, going off the number of accidents (up by over 30%) caused by the bad weather and lack of gritting.

Old girl ain't sounding to clever but then I don't think there's many bikes out there that wouldn't suffer from the carbs icing in that temp.
