Not booked my ferries yet but given that I'm not to keen on spending all day on the motorway I'm tempted to get a B&B or hostel near Fishguard on the friday night rather than leave home and silly o'clock to catch the 11:30 Fishguard-Rosslare on Saturday the 5th. Anyone else interested in doing this? A quick google found a couple of B&B's for £22.50 and a backpackers hostel for £16 (sharing a 4 bunk room).
I assume a fair few people are aiming for the 15:00 Rosslare-Fishguard on the way back on Saturday the 12th?

You're going out on a different day to me aren't you? Reckon I'll have to take the later one out and not get to the RTT venue until 11:00pm, do they have last orders around there?
I'm half tempted now to either find a B&B in Rosslare on the way back and get the 9am on Sunday, or get the 21:15 on Saturday, find a place in Fishguard that doesn't mind me turning up at 1:00am, and then have a Sunday morning bimble around South Wales [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif[/img] Don't really fancy a 4 hour motorway ride starting at 1am [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif[/img]

Well for anybody taking notes, I'm going over on Sat 5th July 8.30 am Holeinthehead to DanglyEarring and coming back Tuesday 15th July 3.00 pm Rissole to Fishfinger (wandering back via Cork etc. cos never been before, inc. If it is any help with your planning I reckon 4 hours from Dublin/Dun Laoghaire to Castlegregory and a little longer from Rosslare at legalish speeds.
