Okee dokee Studders, me and the boy nipped up to CWK Grantham yesterday on the way to Becki's, looks a smart place :badgerrock: , the "race cafe" looked inviting !!

I'm still planning on making this but the misses ain't to clever so I won't be taking you up on your very generous offer Gdogg, very much appreciated thanks.

Although like SR, could well be on the way home again after the Skeggy food. Can't say I'm not having one eye on the weather still.

At the mo, the weather's not to bad in the morning and I don't mind a downpour on the way home so I'm in.

Dropping of Sidey's tent, then I'll be at Sleaford Maccy D's at around 9am for a coffee/ciggy.  Will check back on here in the morning first, in case the weather turns really bad.

Sorry guys but I can't make this. Intercoolers gone on the motor and having sourced a new one tomorrow is the only day I have free to fetch and fix it. Need the car for all of next week so need to do it.

Cracking ride out, got a bit damp heading into Skeggy Vagas, then fine the rest of the way Smile

 

Good to meet up with Studders and Catteeclan, brill breckie at Frankies and steady ride back.

Ingoldmells is noisy ! Lol  Ended up in Mablethorpe on my way home. Huh  Then called in at Willingham Woods for a coffee.  Only found one brief shower on my way home.  Did a tad over 180 miles all told, prolly the least of the three of us.

 

Got a couple of photos I'll sort out and post up.

Just got in and wet stuff now hung up, the Norwich bypass was a bloody river.

Excellent day out. Thanks for the invite guys, great to meet new faces.

Thanks for the buff SR, started get cold toward the coast and was very welcome. Hope you get home warm and dry.

Food was only let down by the cheap sausage, rest was great for the price. 

Steady is about as fast as I go, Confusedorry: .

Yup, sausages at Frankies were a bit mushy and tasteless. :tdown:   Good value brekky other than that though.

Unless I'm very much mistaken, we stopped there on a TDM meet some years back and had a group photo. Great day with a big turn out.

Think I've got the pic on my old pc. I'll try and find it later, unless someone else comes up with it first.

It's not really in an area I have any knowledge of, I wouldn't have a clue where the best roads around there are.  It's ok for a stop off if you're passing through, but there can be a lot of stealth police bikes patrolling the area so I tend to steer clear if I'm out for a ride.   Not much seating/cover either and I think they only do sandwiches and bacon rolls etc.  Toilets are handy though.
