app the night boat ALWAYS casts off at 9PM from Rotterdam
and arrives at hull at 8AM (im assuming local time)
so prolly be rolling at 9AM
taking the scenic route suggested by dapleb and laid out by bondy
im planning a stop every hour / hour and a half...

Traffic that way can be a bloody nightmare, especially on a Friday. I'd go for the scenic A65 it'll probably be the fastest and nicest route.

the route you suggest bondy is by far the best pick up the a65 as soon as you can near to leeds and follow it all the way through skipton / settle / kirkby lonsdale (visit devils bridge for a cuppa and a butty at the jcn of a65 and a693 ) then carry on to kendal / windemere turning right over kirkstone and landing at the campsite.
great route and if you are running early you can drop down into windemere and go see the boats
