As you probably know that area better than me, Jolly Giant, can you put a route together with some nice biking roads, please? Perhaps a circular route of about an hour(ish) so we end up fairly central again for people to head for home again?

East Anglian Meet - 5th April 2008 - jollygiant - 15-12-2007

The lorry park in Bury has a decent cafe and plenty of space for a group of us.

If you dislike the taste of bacon rolls so badly that you need to disguise thier flavour with tomato ketchup why eat them in the first place? Weirdo.

Ah - so you're the one who peels the tomato sauce and cheese off his pepperoni pizza, eh?? There sure is no accountin' fer taste - mmm...MMMM .

East Anglian Meet - 5th April 2008 - jollygiant - 16-12-2007

Ok then why dont we meet at the lorry park and end it at Red lodge, Cos from Bury we can the long way to Thetford then on to Watton then Brandon, Mildenhall and then a short rip up the A11 to Redlodge prob about 1hr ride I think depends on how hard you go!! On good fat biking roads....

Then Bacon rolls both ends

East Anglian Meet - 5th April 2008 - Guest - 16-12-2007

East Anglian Meet - 5th April 2008 - Guest - 16-12-2007

So long as you're happy to sort the route JG, then it's a thumbs up from me.

East Anglian Meet - 5th April 2008 - jollygiant - 16-12-2007

Yeah the route is no prob!!

I could describe each bend and pot hole now if you want?????

There is one uphill right hander on the brow that can be taken at 70+ if you have large testicels

And a cruel double apex right hander where the second part tightens!!!!

And fast sweepers and tighter stuff too = great ride.....

Oooh I'm getting all excited NOW

There's nice views too 2 British and 1 American airbases a statley home (Not that you can see much of it) to look at on route....

Also we will pass within 500 yrds of my very own mansion could see if Jolly Giant's wife will put kettle on for a cuppa and lavy stop!?!??!?!!? for those who need loo every 10 miles!!!

Will be a good ride....

Plenty of places too stop and wait for those who can't find 5th on or 6th depending on wot Mk you have

Ohh and 1 small hump back bridge will wheelie if hit hard enough.....

All the better chance to show off a bunch of TDM's if there's a decent turnout. Worth anticipating now, in a general sort of way so people can mark it down? How about 22 June as a "Midsummer Fest"? Couldn't ask for a longer day (chance of visitors from farther afield?) - and it might even be sunny this time?

Great to be off to a positive start with the April "do" - well done lads! Don't forget to bring yer camera.

No way could I do the 22 June, as it is my folks' 50th wedding anniversary (or adversary as my Dad calls it!).

April 5th is good fer me though.
