Why did they do away with kick starters and decompression levers ? All the battery has to do is then is squirt fuel and provide sparks.

They removed the kick start from Drz model at some point. I had start issue at top of a hill on Dave. No worries thinks oi ... Bump doon the hill .... Not a chance. Oi dragged the tyre doon hill.
Valve lifter and kick a beautiful thing.
Would have been grateful for either a valve lifter or electric start option on me 80s air cooled KTM 500 ,ââ â¿â â
