Snow, Snow And F'n Snow - Matlock - 06-01-2010 <!--quoteo(post=146308:date=Wed 6th Jan 2010, 08:18 AM:name=harvey krumpet)-->QUOTE(harvey krumpet @ Wed 6th Jan 2010, 08:18 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><!--quotec-->That looks like cruel & unusual weather. Take care all.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd--> Certainly cruel, I haven't ridden the bike since the 21st December. I can't remember the last time I went so long without a ride (fnaar, fnaar). No further snow here overnight, but it was bloody cold last night so everything is frozen solid. The road outside our house is a couple of inches of sheet ice. Snow, Snow And F'n Snow - wicklamulla - 06-01-2010 ferry snowy here so i'm atome today as our works yard is inaccessible. I might go up to the shed later and start me saws and strimmer and sniff in the fumes mmmmmmm yummy. Had some fun drifting me truck into the village yesterday evening. Snow, Snow And F'n Snow - catsbum - 06-01-2010 I'm off today anyway but going to Slough to meet the guy who's bought my Day Van, going will be ok as she's a 4x4, coming back in a C5 will be a bit more interesting Was planning on going to Oxford to see Tony and hand over his thirty calendars, but something tells me not to do it, bacon sarnis and gallons of tea does, life is tough Snow, Snow And F'n Snow - Onanist - 06-01-2010 I hate snow. The only times I have had offs, (since being 17 and reckless), has been on snow and now hate it with a passion. Having only a bike licence has it's drawbacks, as I have to use the bloody bus for work so a 15 min journey takes me over an hour. Off to look at Plastic Pigs on ebay, they could be fun Snow, Snow And F'n Snow - TonyDevil - 06-01-2010 <!--quoteo(post=146317:date=Wed 6th Jan 2010, 09:37 AM:name=CatsBum)-->QUOTE(CatsBum @ Wed 6th Jan 2010, 09:37 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><!--quotec-->Was planning on going to Oxford to see Tony and hand over his thirty calendars, but something tells me not to do it, bacon sarnis and gallons of tea does, life is tough<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd--> you'll get down to mine no problem, but getting back up the hill without 4x4 wont happen. i may be able to tow you tho no grit, 7inches of snow and the roads are compacted snow & sheet ice still we have loads of bacon, sausages, eggs, beer, wine, whiskey...... worse places to get stuck lol Snow, Snow And F'n Snow - Matlock - 06-01-2010 Looks like someone found something interesting to do with all that snow: linky Snow, Snow And F'n Snow - TonyDevil - 06-01-2010 a few pics of the snow outside my house yesterday around 7pm, the gf discovering its deeper than my work boots ![]() when my neighbour got home we set about clearing the driveways unfortunately our other neighbours car was in the way..... ![]() ![]() ![]() ooops, sorry morgan dunno what happened there, must have been an avalanche.....
