I've been looking, ever since taking my daughters 600 divvy out for some runs, something small and light would be fun. Just had a friend around who needed help to change the clutch cable on his SV650, and I had ride of that.....excusing the very forward leaning riding position it was a lot of fun

Anybody ridden the Corrieyairack Pass from Laggan to Fort Augustus recently ?  Officially, you're not supposed to, but who's going to stop you ?

The first two were taken at the end of June 1978 and yes, we did get stuck in the snow at the top.

The last one was my company bike in 1982 when I worked for a BMW dealership.....the management thought that I was just using it to go to and from the garage....

I get what you are saying about the SV riding position had one as a courtesy bike a few years back took me 4/5 weeks to settle with it

Had to give back a week or so later

Was in Yamaha dealers a couple of weeks ago and everything felt like that forward leaning

Fantastic Stuff

Never ridden it myself

But a few guy's from a local bike forum DBF( now defunct ) done it a couple of years back on mix of GS . KTM etc

They described it as a Challenge to say the least

I'm looking at mt-03's, the 660cc older version. That's a sit forward position but nothing like as severe as the SV. A bigger engine in the Divvy 600 would do, but not the 900 because it weighs a lot more than the 600. I'ld love an older XT 500/550/600 but they're prime dollar, and maybe not the fastest

Decisions decisions !

XT500 lovely and great fun during the winter of discount tents discontent. As I'm almost 60yo, no more kickstarts for me please.

What Have You Done To Your Tdm Today? - Andy25 - 27-06-2018

Would love something like that

But sadly so would the Sticky fingered

Sadly my bike is parked in front of the House

So even with a big chain etc it would be a nice target

Pretty Sure some of my neighbours would even help them

Any more suggestions ?

Fitted some different bars - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-FIR-Steel-Handlebars-Trials-6-Bars-7-8-22mm-Bars-Black-Beta-Montesa-Gas-Gas/173009509690?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

Chosen because the hand area is less swept back but the handles are at a similar height as the standard bars. A bit like 971's with risers

Had a long run today and they felt good, and my wrists are fine

took out the fuel pump with disgust, thing kept stalling prob due to the heat, so gone back to vacuum pump.

than the reg/rec wiring was smoking near connector, so ordered new locking spades to replace

Put the Norwegian number plates on and drove it home  :pimp:

The upgraded fork is beautiful, but hard to tell what's new oil and what's emulators/stiffer springs....

Again experienced the following 2 things with brakes:

- effective bleeding: After getting some resisteance in lever (I did it by sucking 'till most air was out), strap it a few hours and voilá; Perfect

- seemingly uneven discs (suggested fix: free up bobbins) are really dirt in caliper seals. Common symptom: unevenly worn pads.

Now looking forward to install Wilbers rear shock !

Mosfet RR was faulty, replaced with SH650 and all's well

What Have You Done To Your Tdm Today? - LustyLew - 06-07-2018

What have I done? Left it at home as it wouldn't start. I suspect a knackered battery! Will be out with the multi-meter and jump leads tonight.

What Have You Done To Your Tdm Today? - bjorge - 08-07-2018

Installed the Wilbers shock, changed oil and filter. Filming oil on the 9er is a bit fiddly....used a pump

Today's project is mounting the Kappa 35l top box.

What Have You Done To Your Tdm Today? - bjorge - 08-07-2018

Kappa K35 on, regreased steering head bearings. Take it for a test ride. Tonight :-)
