Lew <!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd--> It will be 7 nights, 4 in Masserberg , best thred to see what people are doing is the meet up thread. See who is going roughly on your schedule and tag along, alot from NW are meeting at Lymm services and going down together. Main thing is booking the accomodation, see the first post. Cost, I am taking = £700 + booze. ( two crates of Brown Ale on the back ) Dont worry about not knowing one, You'll know me I'm the one with the Irish accent. Riding costs are hard to reduce: Fuel, ferry, speeding tickets... But be assured, there will ne a meeting in Germany next year as well. Location is not yet defined, though. Regards from south-western Germany, Lars Mt 2011 Of The German Tdm-forum - LewisBlackburn - 08-02-2011 I know, I know, i'll be too busy planning the move, Plus i think I've just been roped into working that weekend anyway as I've swapped the one before so I can attend a forum meet from my previous bike forums Lew Mt 2011 Of The German Tdm-forum - TonyDevil - 08-02-2011 <!--quoteo(post=194085:date=Tue 8th Feb 2011, 10:34 AM:name=Lars)-->QUOTE(Lars @ Tue 8th Feb 2011, 10:34 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><!--quotec-->Riding costs are hard to reduce: Fuel, ferry, <!--coloro:#FF0000--><!--/coloro-->speeding tickets<!--colorc--> <!--/colorc-->... Thanks Lars Mt 2011 Of The German Tdm-forum - Matt686 - 13-02-2011 Ordered mine too. May as well have the set. Thanks Lars Matt Mt 2011 Of The German Tdm-forum - TonyDevil - 13-02-2011 i'll order one too, can we pay via paypal if we cover the fees? Mt 2011 Of The German Tdm-forum - ladroege - 13-02-2011 <!--quoteo(post=194725:date=Sun 13th Feb 2011, 04:52 PM:name=TonyDevil)-->QUOTE(TonyDevil @ Sun 13th Feb 2011, 04:52 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><!--quotec-->can we pay via paypal if we cover the fees?<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd--> I don't know. Please check with our "T-Shirt-Master" when you get the confirmation email. Mt 2011 Of The German Tdm-forum - ChrisG - 13-02-2011 Does someone want to organise a Carpe group buy to save on money transfer costs (I'm not going to volunteer due to my poor level or organisational skills)? When we went to MT08 we found we can't easily do bank transfers to an German account so had to send via Paypal which obviously has an admin fee. Mt 2011 Of The German Tdm-forum - ladroege - 13-02-2011 Well, that's something we "continental Europeans" still remember from the pre-Euro days, but are not accustomed "to any more. If my "t-shirt colleague" has no better suggestion, I can try to act as a "payment bridgehead". Whether the transfer works best/cheapest via cheque, paypal, regular bank transfer, notes in envelope or any other means..? That would be up to you to investigate. But I am sure, we will find a way (maybe some members of the orga team want to be paid in single malt? ) Mt 2011 Of The German Tdm-forum - Trevini - 13-02-2011 <!--quoteo(post=194735:date=Sun 13th Feb 2011, 03:38 PM:name=Lars)-->QUOTE(Lars @ Sun 13th Feb 2011, 03:38 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><!--quotec-->(maybe some members of the orga team want to be paid in single malt? Mt 2011 Of The German Tdm-forum - ladroege - 14-02-2011 As our "Mr. T-Shirt" does not have a paypal account, he asked me to relay the money if you prefer that payment method. Please be aware of the transaction costs for receiving on my side: Transactions in Euro: 1.9 % + 0.35 Euro Transactions in GBP: 3.9 % + 0.35 Euro (potentially plus 2.5% conversion fee) I am not a paypal pro, so please check any any additional fees on your side. If you want my paypal details, please send me a personal message. |
