Just bought myself a 99 plate TDM 850 in gold and silver. She looks in great shape with only 12k miles on her, one lady owner as well....... Had to sell my Caponord, <!--coloro:#FF0000--><!--/coloro-->XTZ750<!--colorc-->
<!--/colorc--> and XR400 to get her, but looking very promising so far. Seems to be standard apart from a scottoiler and fender extender but we'll soon put a stop to that. Only two jobs so far, install the scottoiler correctly and mount my top box to the brab rail. The site looks great and I've been having a quick perusal to top up my shopping list:- GPS mount, power socket, stainless crash bars, aluminium panniers, spots......

I am also in the Big Trail Bike Club and have done a few trips with them. Will pass on anything useful that I find.

All the best

Hi all...finally saying Hi. Got my '92 last August. Replaced my 2000 VFR. I really liked that bike, but I've always wanted a TDM. The VFR was great and I rode it 15k miles, but it just wasn't right for me. The TDM has a great personality and people do not stop looking at it.

I've been lurking and learning around here for quite awhile, so I'm lurking no more.

Maybe I"ll even have something to add someday.

Take care all.

Joel

Pics will come soon, she's in pieces at the mo having a bit of a tidy up before MOT time. Biggest task will be taking the forks out to change the dust seals and sort the pitting (luckily not low enough to damage oil seals). Any tips for this from anyone would be appreciated!

cheers.

Hello there. I took a 2002 Yellow TDM 900 for a test ride a few days ago and put a deposit down straight afterwards. The bike has only 14000 kms on it and is in spotless condition. It has Megacycle mufflers and is LOUD. I look forward to catching up with any riders around Melbourne (Australia).

Thanks

Guy
