What Have You Done To Your Tdm Today? - dablik - 18-05-2017 No Mal, just the one, lookee here. What Have You Done To Your Tdm Today? - drewpy - 18-05-2017 well my bolt is seized on to the bush. looks like I'll have to grind it off using a .08mm stainless steel cutting disk. think i'll get the fiesta wishbone bolt to replace What Have You Done To Your Tdm Today? - MalS7 - 20-05-2017 Quote:No Mal, just the one, lookee here. Thanks. I'm finding this forum very helpful. I had to pull that suspension rocker pivot today, the 10 mm rawl bolt did the trick. Worth the price of admission for that tip alone. Everything is pretty good except the swingarm bearings and pin are on the way out. Where is the best place to buy? I'm in Oz but for light parts like that it's usually cheaper from UK or Europe. Cheers Mal What Have You Done To Your Tdm Today? - chrisr - 24-05-2017 Dismantled and greased rear suspension, needed it too! Only 7000 miles and 19 months since the last time. Took plenty of time to get the bearings cleaned out and all freely turning. Remember to keep on top of this! What Have You Done To Your Tdm Today? - wicklamulla - 25-05-2017 Charged the battery on No.7. Me Tree Vee Dee ( MeOff ), I haven't seen this since she was stored in a shed last October. What Have You Done To Your Tdm Today? - drewpy - 25-05-2017 got my swing arm back from powder coaters, fitted new needle bearings and had a new spindle from my fz project. just awaiting new oil seals and oillite bushing for the lower shock and I'll get this fitted weekend What Have You Done To Your Tdm Today? - fixitsan - 25-05-2017 Loaded the 850 into a van to start it's trip to Northern Ireland and it's new owner. Just have the 9er now (and rainbow panties), took her out last night and really think it's plenty fast enough But still, I might see what Samios Motorsport can do for me ![]() What Have You Done To Your Tdm Today? - alanfavell - 27-05-2017 Not quite balanced on a chair........ ![]() What Have You Done To Your Tdm Today? - wicklamulla - 27-05-2017 Quote:Loaded the 850 into a van to start it's trip to Northern Ireland and it's new owner. quite a bit judging by their website, If I had a 9er I tink i'd go down that route. What Have You Done To Your Tdm Today? - dablik - 27-05-2017 It's not number 118 by any chance Favs a magnet will have that out..What Have You Done To Your Tdm Today? - fixitsan - 27-05-2017 Quote: Yes they seem to know what they're doing and I think they're somehow involved with the lads who turbocharge their 9ers, so will have a good idea of when to stop trying to push boundaries and how to keep on the safe side of performance. I think I'll do it TBH, Much cheaper than a Power Commander that doesn't even adjust the timing I was out on my 9er today for a few hours enjoying the merits of the +4 degrees of advance and the 17" front wheel together, Obviously 17" is 1 shorter than 18" so the front wheel doesn't always reach down to the ground, there's sometimes an air gap under it, usually happens in the lower 3 gears . I think i got the mpg down below 160 (Have seen 210 before now !) PR3s have worn in a bit and feel very good, I didn't like the chicken strips so I took them off on the way home ![]() The 850 alternator stator still seems to be doing a great job ![]() Quote:Not quite balanced on a chair........ Thats a bugger, but if you can get it to turn at least you can get the lock out and either fiddle with it (the lock ) or replace itWhat Have You Done To Your Tdm Today? - alanfavell - 27-05-2017 Got your number Dablik........but it's not 118 118 Job done and I still have 2 key that fit ![]() Key was a non-ferrous material. What Have You Done To Your Tdm Today? - dablik - 27-05-2017 Chris i think your wrong fella, the difference between 18" and 17" on the front of the 9r is 1/2" i believe. I changed the gaskets and also fitted a factory pro kit with new emulsion tubes, needles and the sugested jetting. Fuel mixture screws 2,5 turns out. Everything goes smoothly until now when im trying to set everything right. It runs a little bit rough and backfires through the carburettors, I saw another thread whit a similiar problem but i didnt find the sulution. Heres an video of my bike yesterday. Feel free to share some ideas. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4kweFq16UfA&feature=youtu.be Maybe i should start an separate thread? What Have You Done To Your Tdm Today? - Kelpie - 28-05-2017 Finished training and my assessment to be an IAM Local Observer. Next step is the National and considering doing my Masters one day (if I'm not too ancient by then!). Who says all IAM riders have Beemers?

No vacuum pipes off ? What Have You Done To Your Tdm Today? - Victor - 28-05-2017 Quote:ÂI will double check the rubbers and clamps. With vacuum pipes, do you mean the ones from the inlets? The funny thing obout those is that if you connec these to the morgan carbtune, the bike will stop after a short while. then you have to put one of the pipes back on the vacuum pump. start it up and then reconnect the carbtune again. :unsure2: Is it suppose to be like this? |
