Aye aye everyone. With a house move coming up and looking for a good excuse for " garage time" I thought I might revisit the shims, and while there put a camchain and guide in. Then, reseal hopefully for life!!

Anyone know the whereabouts and availability of the shim suppository? No rush.....in the bleak mid winter will do..

Gorrem capn. In da port Monday, and oil prolly be back again in 6 months also.

Have You Seen 'em? - peter-may - 26-07-2025

Oooooh, just round the corner if you mean the port of Ellesmere. Could I pick em up and keep em ,' til needed? Obvs hand em on if needed meantime...

Have You Seen 'em? - dapleb - 26-07-2025

That it be. I normally take shim sizes and post the required shims so as to not risk the entire collection in da post. So lettuce snow the sizes required and oil gerrum to ewe in da port or wherever.

Are ye moving far capn?

Sounding like a plan already. Hopefully won't need any adjustment anyway but I'll aim for a Dec / Jan farkle. Fits perfik with weather predictions.

Moving literally half mile. Down sizing from Uber garage to 2 parking spaces under a condominium (flats). All secure and dry....no idea what the living part is like...Smile

Have You Seen 'em? - peter-may - 27-07-2025

I'll be working on it Lee. Bike lift and bench with be going with me. Just need to rig up lighting. It'll be a compromise but workable.

Have You Seen 'em? - peter-may - 19-08-2025

Thanks Thong, that may be an option, but the jobs been kyboshed for now because the house moving chain collapsed so move has been halted....( 4 days before move date!!) Tools are all packed, as are winter clothes, cutlery, TV, ....you get the picture....

Have You Seen 'em? - bjorge - 20-08-2025

They're only about £2.5 a piece or so....😎

Have You Seen 'em? - peter-may - 20-08-2025

Thanks Daps, great offer but due to my great age and regardless of my elite athlete physique, SWHMBO won't let me do the lifting, so it's over to some strapping gen X gorillas to move us....thanks anyway.

Yes lee....living out of boxes is for "others"....Wink
