I like all the manufacturers nakeds particularly the xjr 1200 sp yamaha with the blue & white paint & good suspension. Not enough to own one though. Choose A Bike............. - Guest - 17-07-2010 If that`s the style of bike you want then the X4 would be the one to go for as the drag queen simply doesn`t handle corners and the harley are all marketing and the bikes aren`t worth the money. Another option would be having a hunt around for a triumph rocket as you should be able to pick one up with that sort of money and you`d have loads of fun with it as they do actually handle corners well. Only problem is that they can eat a rear tyre pretty quickly if pushed hard. Choose A Bike............. - dapleb - 17-07-2010 9miles....sounds loike a job for Hodaka.....Road Toad? Combat Wombat? I can imagine your commute - <i>"Start, rmmm, rrRRRRRRRRR, eeek! potato, potato, off."</i> I think I'd be looking for something nimble enough to get through traffic, yet powerful enough not to need a disguise when you're riding it, and that also has possibilities for use when conditions don't suit the TDM.
